After two-month organizing the 3-minute Viral Video Contest, there were 13 short video submitted. Through online voting and judges' evaluation, "In time" video which was produced by Nguyen Dan Ngoc and Doan Thi Phuong Thanh excellently won the first prize both in community voting and judges' selection. The 3-minute Viral Video Contest is sponsored by Irish Aid and ADC Academy.

 LIN's mission to enhance the profile of NPOs and organizations that are providing meaningful and important services and support to disadvantaged and vulnerable groups. It is important to highlight and showcase what they are trying to do to serve and support their communities. For this contest, we expected short introduction videos (maximum 3 minutes) to benefit our local NPOs. They will be displayed on NPOs' pages on the online portal vietnamcauses.org (philoinhuan.org). The videos are meant to be additional promotional materials for NPOs to reach out to potential funders and volunteers.

"In time" video introduced about OPEN Group - a not-for-profit organization (NPO) providing shelter for those of who are in violence in local Ho Chi Minh city, particularly from LGBT community . The video received 596 votes, so was the best favorite video. The video about Cau Han Project (by Sky Group) is in the next with 324 votes. "What is the meaning of life" video about Thien Tam Huong Vocational Center (by Love Plus Group) received the third amount of online votes – 189 votes.

The different works of each NPO, as well as the creativity of groups made feature for each video. Therefore, the judges worked hard to select the best video base of these four criteria:

  1. Overall Impact (educational, inspiring, persuasive or moving and not just about charity)
  2. Creativity & Quality (original, exciting and framing/camera angles/sound/visual/lighting)
  3. Memorable Content and Delivery (storytelling and script was appropriate and easy to remember)
  4. Clear Message (to help raise awareness about NPO and how it works)

Finally, three best videos received high score from the judges were:

  1. "In time" (by NGO.C): 53/60 scores
  2. Video introducing CEPORER Hoc Mon(by GONU Team): 51/60 scores.
  3. Video introducing Smile Group (by New Sunshine): 50/60 scores

As a result, NGO.C group would be awarded both the Prize voted by the judges, including VND 15 million and 03 full scholarships for Writing the screenplay course (each worth VND 2.4 million) at ADC Academy and the Prize for the best favourite video from audiences including VND 5 million and 3 discounted 50% scholarships for Writing the screenplay course (each worth VND 1.2 million) at ADC Academy.
