Narrow the Gap Site Visit to “Follow The Children” a project by CHUM and CEPORER HOC MON

On the same day that LIN visited Ceporer Hoc Mon's Community Garden, they also met with Ceporer Hoc Mon and CHUM, which were collaborating on another funded project entitled, "Follow the Children". This project received VND 30 million from the Narrow the Gap Community Fund.

The project, "Follow The Children," connects children to mentors, who are volunteers trained by the CHUM team. These mentors explain and share basic skills (such as reading, understanding, memory, life skills, self-evaluation, and self-defense) and experiences, such as family meals and listening to live music, in addition to learning about social network security and career counseling. The project also encourages parental skills training.

Narrow The Gap Site Visit to CEPORER HOC MON

On the morning of May 28th, LIN and Narrow the Gap supporters visited Ceporer Hoc Mon's Community Vegetable Garden, a project that received VND 50 million from the Narrow the Gap Community Fund.

"The Community Vegetable Garden" project set out to create a sample community garden and hosted communication and training activities to encourage beneficiaries to create a homegrown clean food resource of their own. The project was also designed to promote environmental protection and food security.
