Over the course of two months, the company employees and the NPO staff worked together and learned from each other. In addition to sharing experiences and mentoring NPO staff, teams were challenged to create a product and design a strategy to help the organization achieve its mission. Their work was then evaluated by a judge panel comprising of experts in Marketing, PR and Advertising, who judged the products and strategies based on a set of criteria.
The exciting challenge culminated in an Award Ceremony on 7 September, where five teams proudly introduced their products and presented their communication strategy. After deliberating together, the judges made a final decision to select the teams they thought producing the best product and strategy. Three winning NPOs were awarded with communication prizes (including website development, digital marketing, printing voucher), which in turn would help NPOs with fundraising, raising public awareness and support for their cause.
