As the fourth wave of the Covid-19 outbreak appears to have almost all sectors plunge into a set of challenges anew, vulnerable and marginalized communities are again gripped in the myriad burdens of physical and emotional needs to overcome. Indeed, they are to face with risks of having no more access to service delivery due to cut-off support from NPOs who are also badly weakened by the pandemic.
In 2020, LIN Center initiated Covid-19 Community Response Fund to support the nonprofit communities to #StayResilient through the global crisis. As of January 2021, the Fund has gone through 2 rounds of fund disbursement to 30 NPOs with a total amount of VND 1.5 billion. On top of that, LIN has mobilized a great amount of in-kind support to our nonprofit community.
Given the prolonged impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, LIN Center is committed to regularly check in with our NPO partners and coming up with initiatives to give them timely supports.
Let’s go over some major findings from our NPO Survey Report 2020 as well as outcomes and impact story from our Covid-19 Response Community Fund Phase 1
