How to apply for a grant
The LIN Center for Community Development is calling for proposals from local, not-for-profit organizations (NPOs) for its I.2019 round. The grant value is up to 75 million VND for each project which is implemented within 1 year in Ho Chi Minh City or southern areas (from Bình Thuận). The deadline for proposal submission is 17h00 March 15th 2019 (Friday).

For local NPOs, the Fund provides a level of support that was previously missing in Vietnam:
- A regular source of funding. With grants offered up to 2 times each year, NPOs have time to plan and prepare proposals
- Investing in the capacity of NPOs and their staff. If NPO staff do their jobs better, the people they serve will reap the benefits
- Offering transparency in expectations. Clear eligibility criteria, reporting guidelines, and consultations to applicants ensure that good ideas can be realized
- Connecting NPOs to other donors. By engaging many different people in the process, NPOs have access to a broad network of prospective donors and volunteers.
