Mr Zesiger, born in New York City, graduated cum laude from Yale University, has an M.A. from UC Berkeley, and an M.B.A. from the Maastricht School of Management.
In 2000, Mr Zesiger co-founded Global Standards with Nguyen Ngoc Chau in HCMC. Along with his partner, Mr Zesiger was accredited as the first local independent monitor for the Fair Labor Association (FLA) in Vietnam.
Today, Global Standards has local audit and consulting teams in China, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam, offering independent monitoring, social audits, consulting and training on CSR, capacity building and factory improvement.
