Professor Sidel is Doyle-Bascom Professor of Law and Public Affairs at the University of Wisconsin, specializing in nonprofit, philanthropic and civil society institutions. He headed the Ford Foundation’s Vietnam program in the 1990s and also served in the Foundation in Beijing, Bangkok and New Delhi.
